Polestar’s personnel are experienced project managers with expertise in a variety of specialized areas. Project management spans both the Government and Commercial Services sectors of our business and is integrated in every aspect of our work. Many members of the Polestar team have prior corporate management experience. Our team members apply our combined management expertise and years of experience in Nuclear Facility Management, Executive Consulting/Training, and Project Management.


Strategic Due Diligence
Our former executive level nuclear organization managers have performed several due diligence assessments to determine the overall condition of a particular facility and then translate it into future financial value. Organizational effectiveness, regulatory issues, and the condition of plant systems, structures and components are qualitatively and quantitatively assessed to determine levels of future risk that can be factored in to the financial impact. This depth of experience is also applied as we support nuclear facility independent safety review boards.


Investor Oversight
A more extended form of due dilegence is being provided to numerous investors or minority owners of nuclear facilities. An independent and objective assessment of their investment is conducted on a periodic basis, without interfering with ongoing operations or other organizational and business activities.

This oversight service is performed by a small team with world-class knowledge of the technical, organizational, and behavioral characteristics that impact plant safety and performance. Organizational effectiveness, regulatory issues, and the condition of plant systems, structures and components are qualitatively and quantitatively assessed to determine levels of future risk that can be factored in to the financial impact analysis for the buyer’s decision-making.
