Polestar’s Commercial Nuclear Division provides the highest level of expertise and experience through our recognized team of leaders in the field of nuclear technology. The Commercial Services Division is comprised of personnel with senior levels of experience and a diversity of skills in both commercial nuclear power facilities and the U.S. Navy Nuclear Power Program.

Several division members have held leadership roles in key nuclear industry programs and committees at the national level. These include lead positions in the U.S. Advance Light Water Reactor (ALWR) Program and the Nuclear Power 2010 Program. Additionally, Polestar personnel were instrumental in developing the regulations for the Alternative Source Term (AST) following the accident at Three Mile Island.

Over the past decade Polestar’s commercial clients have included 28 domestic nuclear sites as well as nuclear clients in France, Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. Additional clients in the nuclear power industry include both vendors and regulatory authorities.
