Company Organization

Polestar is a dynamic company with an organizational structure designed to support the fluid nature of our team. The matrix style that Polestar uses promotes the flexibility, responsiveness and adaptability necessary to thrive in a constantly changing business environment. Polestar provides a variety of services and products to our public and private sector clients and has three primary service divisions, Government, Commercial, and International, established to meet those needs. Additionally, the Infrastructure division supports the core infrastructure of the company and the Subsidiaries and Independent Cost Centers division provides interface and coordination with our subsidiary companies, such as Polestar Savannah River Company.

The Principals of Polestar are John C. DeVine, Jr., Dr. David E. W. Leaver and John P. Hayfield, Jr. They serve as both officers and directors of the corporation and provide overall leadership and direction for the company. Presently, Jack DeVine and Dave Leaver share the positions of Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. Dave also serves as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary while John Hayfield serves as the Chief Operating Officer. The elements of our organizational structure are the Principals, Division Managers, Service Area Leads, and Employees.

A key element in the success of the Polestar organization is our employees. Polestar employees are highly capable and generally provide technical support to more than one service area. Polestar employees represent the company in the field and often provide the first impression of our capabilities and professionalism.
